Peperoncino Pizza e Cucina in Fussen

Average food. Below average service. We ordered a Calzone and Gorgonzola Pizza. The Calzone was pretty unusual containing egg, picked peppers with ham and cheese, but I guess that was my fault for not translating the menu! The pizza was pretty greasy and didn’t feel authentic. We decided to order the Nutella pizza expecting an extravagant chocolate treat..... After being ignored by the staff who were either eating food at the bar or in there phones we eventually ordered. The Nutella pizza turned out to be just a pizza base, with a few squirts of Nutella and dusted sugar. Pretty average at best. The staff were friendly enough when they were paying attention; and the restaurant itself seemed pretty nice. I wouldn’t rush back there.

Vito and his team are great. Apart from the great food, it's always fun, I always look forward to the nice conversations.

The pizza was delicious. The best I've eaten in a long time! The service was also great and very friendly. We didn't have much time and that was taken into account and we were already enjoying our pizza five minutes after ordering! Highly recommended.

Great pizza, authentic Italian eatery. Therese's “kid” is simply a temperamental type that some Germans are simply not prepared for. But absolutely nice people (everyone!). Were there for the first time and didn't get out of my feet. After a long hike we were happy to find this nice eatery.

The food (pizza and lasagna) was delicious. The service was courteous. Definitely worth a visit.

The kid from the counter was somehow unsympathetic. Were neither welcomed nor shown interest in taking our order. Papa was correct, then finally took the order. Pizza is unfortunately a 3/10. Dough is ok but topping is the cheapest of the cheapest. Unfortunately I have to say that we hardly got the pizza open.

Too expensive for what you get. But still, taste wasn’t bad. We had some extra wishes which were not a problem. Spaghetti Carbonara was okayish, but not great. We broke a glass, they took care of it. Food came fast (our neighbors definitely waited longer so it probably depends on what you order). The Burrata was good but not the salad it was placed on.

I wanted to give this place 2 stars but our children liked the pizza so up 1 star. The reason for the review is because of the value for money and the (lack of) service. It’s a city centre pizzeria hence the high prices however the pizzas are mediocre and the “service” is super bad. The crust is not crusty but is very chewy and the filling is average. There’s no deliciously exciting flavors to the pizza. Our children (4 and 6 yr) however loved the plain taste. The service... after we entered the restaurant a total of 3 people came over to us and all asked how many people we were only to tell us that the waitress would come to seat us. We waited a while before she came and asked how many people, only to leave without seeting us so one of the other guys finally got us a table😂 The restaurant was not full. The pizzas came after 45 minutes after ordering. My son accidentally broke a glass. No one came to help. The menu was a QR code and a prompt asked us to login using Facebook and accept some terms - you can actually close that prompt to see the menu without having to give your personal info. It’s all in German even though you might choose another language. The waitress was in a bad mood and she was super offended that my husband had the audacity to order in English 😂 switching to German helped a tiny bit on her patience with us 🤭😁

Excellent pizza made by young Italian boys, it certainly does not look like real Italian pizza because of the different ingredients! But we ate well, fair price.

Friendly service, but the pizza is not one of my top ten. It is well topped, but the dough was not crispy enough for me.

The Carbonara pizza was out of this world! There were only a couple servers, so it took a couple minutes to get to us, but we were in no hurry. Talked to the owner and he is Italian, so this is as authentic as it gets in Germany. Highly recommended!

Very good Italian restaurant! It feels right at home. Super pizza, wood oven and the freshest ingredients. Excellent spaghetti carbonara. The very nice and very kind staff. Super recommended.

The food was amazing. The seafood risotto was outstanding, the pastas and pizzas were delicious!

Delicious home made pasta. Wish they had more outside seating but the house made orecchiette, well priced Italian wine and fun staff made it more than worth it!

This place was full of discrimination so I don’t suggest people other than from German going. The moment we got in, and the waiter saw us he was ‘frowning’ at us. Didn’t even bother to look at me and my friends after. Felt very disrespected and offended.

Two men and two women make two pasta pizzas for a total of 58 euros ...? It came out, it was OK !! I have a few pizza pieces and a little pasta. Take bus number 78 to the Marien Bridge, or two minutes from the train ride .. away. For caustic rain jaw

Unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. They were very polite about seating our group without a reservation, but they got my order wrong. There seemed to have been a mixed up that wasn’t cleared all the way. When I noted that it wasn’t what I had ordered, the server looked rather upset with me, took the dish, and didn’t offer an apology. Everything we ate ended up being mediocre at best. Not at all authentic, and quite pricy for what it was. To make matters worse, half an hour later, signs of food poisoning.

The peperoncino is a real Italian shop and who understands at least a few pieces of Italian is entertained magnificently by the conversations between capo and pizzaoulo. Bruschetta and pasta were ready to come in, they had rarely eaten so well in Füssen. Everything a bit shirt-sleeved, no Schicki-Micki-Laden. I loved it!

NOT RECOMMENDED TO FOREIGNER !!! who are not german or speak german!!!!! The waiter is impossibly impolite and i felt really discriminate and unequally treated comparing us foreigners and german customer behind us!!! Seriously surprised with such a bad serviced !!! After waited for table, before that waiter lead us to table , waiter scream to my face 3 times if i have time !!!! I was very surprised of his expression and he just embarrass me right in-front of other german customers behind me . I have no idea how the food be like but it wasn’t worth at all to find out. End up we just walked out after that waiter again keep us wait for quite some time again . And so lucky we left without order anything coz after reading reviews, it might get worst if we waste our time there !!! DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Great homemade pizza & pasta. Good service

Very good pizza, tasty and crunchy, with delicious tomato sauce and good quality toppings. The restaurant is simple, and the workers seems to be all Italian, the service for us was very good and friendly, we even asked to change the toppings of if of the menu pizzas and they were happy to do what we asked. I saw a bunch of other people giving bad feedbacks about service, maybe is because of the language, as I could notice not all of them was able to speak English, and as Italians they might have issues speaking German too. We had a Polato soup too, simple but very good. Not a fancy place, but you’ll eat good food!

It wasn't tasty. Just food. Very boring food like spaghetti. Good for an ordinary bistro, but not for a restaurant with such prices. And a very arrogant waiter - it's not cool. Tiramisu wasn't tasty too. Too greasy.

Service was bad. We visited the castle during the day and went there at night before catching the train home. Took them 20mins to come to our table, the man took his pen out and before we could order table next to us said something in German so he turned to them and took extra orders from them (they were already eating). It was another good 5mins of laughing and chatting before he got his attention back to us. His service was blatantly bad that gave off the impression that he owned/managed the place. Food was average, if you had proper Italian food before you would be disappointed.

Really good Italian food, with minor drawbacks. We ordered some pizza, pasta & lasagne. Pizza was really fine, probably one of the most authentic Italian pizzas we ever ate. Pasta was al-dente, as it should be, and lasagne was also a specimen of a better kind. Prices were on acceptable level. The only drawback was a very strange fetish by the waitress - she always tried to squeeze all guests to the smallest possible table: three times in a raw we observed 5 persons being seated at the table that would fit only four persons, always using an additional chair, instead of simply joining two tables together. Otherwise, she was pretty ignorant, whilst the Italian waiter was friendly and helpful.

The food was pretty good and fairly authentic Italian. Portions a bit large. The staff however were quite offhand and kind of take-it-or-leave-it. I'm used to that from Italians to a degree - frankness is part of the culture - but here it seemed a little much.

Pizza was ok. The salad was disgusting with a cream dressing. The service was really bad.
